HYPE is on a mission to build a network of underrepresented girls that plugs the leaky pipeline which currently exists in the tech industry.

We empower girls of color with technology skills and prepare them to become future leaders in tech careers, cultivating a pipeline of diverse talent

With an intentional focus on quality education and significant experiences, HYPE has it's puls on what it means to thrive in a virtual learning environment. We would love to partner with you to provide computer science exposure and education to your students!

About Our Programs

HYPE offers four signature programs for schools, non-profit organizations, and individuals:

HYPE Project - an extracurricular cohort based program facilitated over the course of 12 weeks designed to help students explore tech careers, learn fundamentals of computer science, and create fun & inspiring projects.

HYPE Leadership Academy - A 10-week Internship Readiness & Placement program designed to equip high school students with workforce ready skills for 21st century opportunities and connect them with internship experiences. This program is offered to alumnae of The HYPE Project, as well as participants who've successfully completed an equivalent computer science program or course.

HYPE Coding Camps - short-term coding camps offered during the summer ranging from 1 to 4 weeks long

HYPE International Experience - our signature train-the-trainer program which gives participants a once-In-a-lifetime opportunity to travel abroad and teach coding skills to youth in an international developing country or urban city center. Students must graduate from either the HYPE Project or HYPE Leadership Academy for this International Experience eligibility.
